If you're using DSL, this really isn't a factor. The only DSL we really have in this part of is Sprint, and between Sprint DSL and Cox Cable, COX every time. You can order BASIC cable service from Cox for about $12.00 per month so really, you may as well have the basic service which gives you all the local channels (Although not digital quality as it will be from your satellite dish) since you're only really paying more per month for it. But now I had many more channels and options, more HDTV, much better quality all digital reception and tons of more choices which I could turn on or off at will. Most people may decide to do it differently and perhaps go with DSL since you can get some really good deals on quality DSL service around the country, but where we are, I just felt it was better to stay with Cox for Internet.
